This time of year people are especially nice. The holidays bring cheer, and with that comes smiling faces as you pass strangers on the streets. Hands full of over sized bags, walking with two kids, on a cell phone smiling as you wave to their little ones.
Stores and their fronts have caught on over the years, and decided to make December their show-stopping-in-awe-of-all-that-is-fabulous window displays.
Below are some of the best displays 2010 has brought us for Christmas. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. My three favorites are Holt Renfrew (of course), The Bay, and Le Chateau.
H&M kind of disappointed me, only because it isn’t as sparkly as one would of hoped.
Take a scroll through, comment on which ones you love or loath. I have always been fascinated by mannequins (there is indeed a condition … which, I do not have), I think they are eary and some-what magical. I think it was the film Mannequin with Kim Catrall that did it for me.
If I don’t say it now, I am afraid I will miss my chance, so happy christmas to you & your loved ones, may all your dreams come true in twenty eleven.
THE TREE THAT KEEPS ON GOING { holt renfrew }
MRS. CLAUSE HAS NOTHING ON THEM { the bay }
WISHING YOU A HAPPINESS & MERRINESS { h&m }
SHINY DISCO BALL NEW YEAR! { le chateau }
Great pix, as usual.
I like The Bay’s display for their lighting and colours. Le Chateau’s is pretty cool, too.
Enjoy your holidays!
Oh! Nice. I loved those displays… (photographed one too! http://jaredk.ca/index.php?p=275).
