TEENAGE CRIME

Can you tell it’s snowing in these photos? … (look again) … yah. I wasn’t prepared. I went for brunch on Sunday with zee friends and out of nowhere (not really, I live in Canada and it’s January) it started to effing snow.

I repeat. Not. Prepared.

Either way, here I am, wearing a pair of $2 jeans my mum bought at a charity auction. I had an impulse two weeks ago for a DIY and was dying for a pair of boyfriend jeans … but being a girl who doesn’t wear jeans often – correction – three times a year – I found it sort of pointless to purchase. So I rummaged through my closet, found a hideous pair of baggy jeans and voila! I think I should do a DIY video for these … as they turned out exactly like I wanted them to.

Work is cray (man friend says Craig), and although I feel I am being bombarded with emails I honestly do find setting simple goals throughout the day helpful and encouraging. My 2013 dreams list is already panning out, two things on my list are in the works and are being concocted (haha cocted –) and I am trying to take things in stride instead of stressing over things I cannot control. One of them, as mentioned before – is to blog more … YAY two posts for 2013!

I hope your year is off to a great start, January is coming to a close and that just leaves four more months until flip-flops and lip gloss!

BREATHING UNDERWATER

With only two more weeks until Christmas I can’t help but squeal every time I hear a Christmas song! Christmas truly is a magical time of year, and this year, it seems to be contagious. For the first time, in a couple of years, everybody seems to be in the holiday spirit despite the lack of snow around … but you know me, I’ll still be dreaming of a white Christmas.

My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with my family and friends! This year will be a year of new adventures, I am headed to my grandparents to bake and have a sleep over, my man friends parents bought a place at the foot of the biggest ski and snowboard destination north of Toronto  and I will be spending some of my holidays on the slopes along with cozy nights by the fire. There is no cable so board games and old movies are definitely on the agenda!  The man friend coaches hockey and has entered into a tournament the last weekend of December, but has sworn it will be a blast and has booked us a suite to have a little getaway! Mostly though, I am just thrilled to be spending a consecutive week with my best friend, as we haven’t done  that since June (gasp!)

UP UP UP

Like always, I am all over the place. Spaz.

These last couple of weeks have been intense at work and I have had little time to myself or to breath … between weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and dinosaurs I seem to find little time to do anything for myself.
But that will change, as the holidays are one month away (almost!) and I am dedicating that entire time to my family, man friend and close friends.

In other great news, the man friend and I are planning a trip to Italy for the summer – so if you have some suggestions please let me know! I’ve been before but wasn’t in charge of anything in terms of planning, so this is all new to me! help!
